The goats that make up our herd
Here’s a look at our goats! Each one has their own personality, and we love having them as part of our herd. Some have been with us for years, while others are newer additions, but they all make our farm what it is. Keep reading to get to know them!
Bree - Kirrasumm Kidz
Bree was born on 12/10/2023. She has a beautiful personality, is friendly and loves to have hugs. She’s easy to handle. We have shown her and are proud of how she is growing. We look forward to seeing her mature.
Maple - Jahanda
Maple was born 01/10/2023 as a twin, but as it happens sometimes her mother didn’t want to feed her so we decided to bottle feed her. She has the nickname Meep because that’s the sound she made when she was born. She has the most adorable personality: cheeky at times she loves to be around us. We have shown her, we are proud of how she is growing out and Maple is one I can’t wait to see mature.
Pickle - Jahanda
Pickle was born on the 09/09/2024, she is a energetic little doeling and an outgoing little personality, her best herd friend is Kaia. She will be shown this year for the first time. We are looking forward to seeing her grow out.
Kaia - Jahanda
Kaia was born on the 16/08/2024 she was one of 3, due to the circumstances we chose to bottle feed her. She is quirky, loving and even though she is getting more independent she loves a good snuggle. Her best friend is Pickle and will be shown with her this year. We are looking forward to seeing her grow out.
Bekki - Kirrasumm Kidz
Bekki was born on 12/11/2023, and is growing into a beautiful looking doe. She has a standoffish personality but once on the stand she is easy to handle: and I know with time she will become friendlier with us humans. We are looking forward to watching her grow and mature.
Bindi - Kirrasumm Kidz
Bindi was born 11/07/2022 she has a wonderful personality and loves nose scratches, she has great body confirmation and I’m looking forward to showing her this year. She is Bekki’s dam.
Dixie - Rosina
Dixie was born 21/08/2021 she is one of our originals that we bought that kicked off this adventure. She has never been a goat that loves pats, only time she has is when she is actively kidding, she is easy to handle once caught for foot trimming etc but her personality is standoffish and no bribing has ever helped haha.
Snickers - Kirrasumm Kidz
Snickers was born on the 03/12/2023 he is easy to handle and walk once you have him but he doesn’t like affection,he has a funny personality and shares a paddock with Simba and Franklin. He is growing out to be a good looking buck, We are looking forward to seeing him mature and grow to become one of our herd sires.
EzA Rippa - Kirrasumm Kidz
Rippa was born on the 17/09/2018 he is a short legged barrel of a buck with munchkin ears, he is a gentle old soul who loves a good scratch, he is our foundation herd sire and our oldest member of our herd, he helped us begin our journey and has produced some beautiful kids. We are thankful for him because he gave us our start.
Zazu - Gippsland Miniature Goats
Zazu was born on the 30/06/2021 he has a great personality, easy to handle and thinks of himself as a bit of a ladies man, he has helped produce some great kids. He is maturing into a gorgeous buck.
